Curcumin 99% -
Anti-inflamtory Reducing Joint Pain
Curcumin is the primary ingredient in the herb turmeric. This
antioxidant also has a nootropic nature, promoting BDNF (brain derived
neurotrophic factor, an essential protein for long-term memory) as well as
being an anti-inflammatory, used for reducing joint pain and inflammation.
Curcumin has a low bioavailability, so it should be paired with
Piperine or Phosphatidylcholine to improve its absorption. One source of this
is Krill Oil capsules, as they are rich in Phosphatidylcholine.
The recommended dosage is 500 mg
(1 level scoop), although the dosage can vary. Turmeric/Curcumin can cause
staining, and should be handled with care.
